Thanks Lisa and ruderedhead. My wife has a girlfriend she can share thoughts with from the borg. Someone like her. So yes. It is stressful as they persist but our move is imminent. My wife s fine and i dont give a damn so were good :-)

WELL! I dont know if anyone forgot me or remembered. Its ok! But lets start where i left off.

SOoo. I told the elders that they were welcomed to my home anytime, but as for a more formal visit, we respectfully declined. SINCE THEN.

No sheparding call as requested. But the. We got more and more and more messages from "friends" who were concerned. A few months passed and i got fed up, told my job i HAVE to move ASAP. Still waiting. But the frienda from our hall keep persisting out of "love" and concern. TheN contact died for 4 weeks or so. Suddenly, CO visit time we get a mass influx of "we miss yous" and "hope all is well"'s. My wife is now out 95% with the occasional "so if other orgs are imperfect whats so bad with them?"A

About two weeks ago i got a message from an elder who said: "Hey how are things? There are many in the congregation worried about you guys". I eased his worries by saying we are fine and dont understand their concern and reiterated if i had a problem I would let him know.

All good. We then attended one CO visit and all welcomed and Love-bombed us like our first day. Thanks.

Now weve got sisters textng my wife asking why we would help our grandma out instead of meetings. What they dont know is my wife leaves each thursday to help (non jw) grandma with REAL issues. And still they wonder why we atent loyal to the org....

on a side note we miss the "friendship"...but then i read this:

"Don't be so eager for unity that you compromise truth".

I know this is brain vomit but its my update....BE CAREFUL all who think this ORG is the one and only....

Thanks problemaddict. We ducked it before by avoiding it altogether and just told them we would let them know. I see what you mean. Im giving too much away. Id rather just text him so ill do that.

Ok i need some quick advice. The elders have contacted my wife about a sheparding call, not me (is that weird?). Anyways she directed them to text or call me. Theyve asked "Hey Jon! Whens a good time for a shelarding call?"

I need some help in declining respectfully without giving anything away.

I thought: "Thanks for taking your time to reach us and thank you for your concern. Is there an issue that we need to be concerned about?....then if he keeps asking say: "Well i know Wife and I havent been very regular, but we told everyone what was going on. And we reassured everyone that we are good and that we will let someone know if theres anything we need." Then if he pursues it further and asks if we can do a sheparding call ill say "I appreciate your concern but, respectfully, i am going to decline. If there is an issue the. You can talk to me about it. Thanks again and I appreciate your concern for us."

so is there anything else i need to add?

No brazil gets lucky:..in final for me is inconclusive so far...after a round of games the idea is better, but i did win my fantasy league with brazil winning 3-1

i must admit i can at times be a little "egotistical" when it comes to knowledge and the bible.

i have studied the bible for so long and have always had a passion for the bible as a jw and as an ex-jw.

i guess that is all i have left when it comes to religion and as humans we do tend to stroke our egos.

so this is the ultimate dilemma.

my wife and i are on the same page.

do we fade, in which all our friends, and i stress friends call us and feel sick and hurt and hurt and we feel guilty; or do we da so we tell the wt what we see as wrong as what we see that lead us to believe its a false religion; or do we df and let me or my wife let them catch us at some wrong doing and stop going to meetigs..... .

Well i texted an elder to let him know i could t do the part....what phonecall are you referring to? No one calls me really...they call my wife. I have realized that the witnesses always looked on me as a science project...a cool toy to play with, talk to, "upbuild", but never knew or tried to know the real me. If ita a JC call....i simply wont answer and decide, on my own terms, what to do then.
